The Authentic Cayman Experience
Island Hospitality... Picture yourself in the Cayman Islands - one of the top snorkeling and diving destinations in the world were you will be mesmerized by the warm sun as you lay on the deck of our boat. As you leave the yacht club and the island behind you gets a little smaller, you will be surrounded by crystal clear water at temperatures around 80 degrees and visibility at more than 100 feet. After a 30 minute ride you will arrive at your first stop where you will snorkel in just 10 feet of water as breathtaking coral reefs and colorful Caribbean fish surround you.
Next you'll head over to the Stingray City Sandbar (only 3 to 5 feet deep) where the very friendly Southern Stingrays will make their way over to the boat to greet you. Located in the North Sound of Grand Cayman, this shallow sand bar is one of the most accessible areas in the world to get up close to these amazing animals. The water is so shallow that it can be waded at any stage of the tide, but you'll want to grab a mask and snorkel anyway to watch these playful animals in their natural environment. Unfortunately, playing with the stingrays will make time seem to fly, but you can share stories with your friends as you head back to the yacht club sipping on a glass of complimentary Fruit Punch made fresh daily by your freindly crew. The experience will be a time to remember for you and your family.
The Captain 'n Crew... The Ebanks name has been around since the first settlers came to the Cayman Islands, and has had a huge part in shaping the future of watersports in the Cayman Islands. But Ebanks Watersports by Shawn Ebanks is a new generation of the infamous Ebanks name.
Captain Ebanks relates, "I was born in Grand Cayman in 1973 but lived on our sister island Cayman Brac for the first few years of my life. After returning to Grand Cayman in 1980, I grew up in the district of West Bay. That is were I fell in love with the sea and have been snorkeling, diving and fishing the waters around Grand Cayman ever since. In the year 2001 I took my passion with the water one step further and started Ebanks Watersports. I wanted to start a small company that could specialize in small groups where our customers wouldn't feel like just one of the crowd. I hand pick each member of the crew, and they are dedicated to exceeding your expectations in service. In fact, one of the most common comments we hear from our passengers is how professional, friendly and helpful our tours are. Your crew will be with you from the time you step foot on our boat until we return you safely to the dock. Each tour has a Captain and Mate that are dive certified and first aid trained and will assist you with your personal needs on the boat and in the water."
Stingray City... One of the most amazing snorkelling experiences available, the Stingray City Sandbar on Grand Cayman Island is simply a must do for any visitor.
Since the water is so shallow - only 3-4 feet deep - the 'sandbar' (is the locals call it) is very "user friendly" and easily accessible to all ages and physical abilities. While most first timers arrive understandably nervous, they soon warm to these friendly creatures as they play in the crystal clear water.
The crew here at Ebanks Watersports are professionals with years of experience at handling these stingrays, gently holding them for you to pet and take pictures with them. For the most adventurous, the crew will teach you how to hold one yourself for a truly wild close encounter. Book your Stingray City trip today and get ready for the experience of a lifetime!

GRAND CAYMAN ISLAND

Picture Yourself Here ... The Cayman Islands lie due south of the Florida Keys, directly under Cuba and roughly west of Jamaica. Consisting of three sister islands - Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman - the islands have long been a haven to divers and sun seekers alike. Surrounded by the ever-warm Caribbean Sea, which boasts a profusion of marine life, beneath the waves is where the islands really start to get interesting.
While you're visiting our little bit of paradise, you can sample some of the local cuisine, try a little scuba diving, maybe do a little fly fishing or simply kick back on a secluded beach with your favorite beverage and watch the waves come in. It's easy to picture yourself in the Cayman Islands.
